Cross reflected in the waters of a sacred lake Design Featuring trash polka style tattoo
Details
Beneath the cross, the lake lay quiet. A mirror to the heavens. The old man stood, watching. His mind mirrored the reflected cross. Two opposite halves. One of faith, one of uncertainty. Solitude hummed around him. A prayer slipped from grizzled lips. The water rippled. His eyes, stormy with contrary thoughts, beheld an altered image. A skewed cross. A warped faith. He sighed.
The wave carried his certainty, his doubts. The answer lay in the lake, he knew. Time would reveal. Waves may shatter an image, but never the faith. He returned to his silence, under the watchful cross.
